BIO
Terri Lyn is a true Guelphite. Born and raised in the Royal City, she knew it was a great place to raise her own three children. While she enjoys traveling, she is always happy to come back to the place she calls home. She loves living in Guelph due to it being the best of both worlds. There are all the amenities needed but it still has that small-town sense of community.
Over the past 15 years, Terri Lyn has furthered her education by taking two postgraduate programs, Sport and Event Marketing at George Brown College and Public Relations Integrated Communications at Conestoga College and became a licensed Realtor.
When she isn’t at work or travelling, you can find Terri Lyn enjoying the great restaurants Guelph has to offer, camping, spending time with friends, outside walking or reading a good book.

Why real estate?
Over the years I have come to realize two major things about myself…. I am happiest helping others with things that they feel passionate about and I have loved being involved in Real Estate. I have built three new homes, bought two resale houses, and as a matter of course, sold four of them. Making the decision to buy or sell a house is truly a life event.

What do you enjoy most about what you do?
Helping people and building relationships are two of the most important things I can do. Working with the LiveHere team as their Client Care and Marketing Specialist is the ultimate way that I can fulfill this.

Tell me about your favourite past-time.
I love to travel! I also enjoy being outside, whether that is sitting on the porch with tea and a good book, out walking the trails in Preservation Park or camping with my family, outside is where I am happiest.

What is your favourite food?
There is nothing like good pasta with tomato sauce. So simple but my absolute favourite.

Can you recommend a good book?
Girl Wash Your Face by Rachel Hollis. The main message of this book is that each person is ultimately responsible for their own happiness and is written with personal stories as well as motivational tips and some entertaining, honest talk.

What is your favourite quote?
“You miss 100 percent of the shots you never take.”- Wayne Gretzky
Since hearing this quote, it has become my motto. If you don’t try you cannot succeed and there is nothing to lose when you do try.
