Born and raised in the Exhibition Park neighbourhood of Downtown Guelph, Braydon is proud of where he is from and loves his hometown of Guelph. Growing up in the Downtown core, Braydon was always fascinated by the mature homes in the area and loved the character and soul they offered. Braydon enjoys nothing more than walking through these neighbourhoods on his way to pick up groceries from Market Fresh, shop for a book at the Bookshelf, grab a coffee from Red Brick Cafe, or enjoy a date night dinner with his Girlfriend at one of the many great restaurants in the Downtown core.
Braydon has been involved with owning and investing in real estate since he was 18, purchasing and converting a bungalow into a duplex rental property, where Braydon learned valuable construction skills, how to effectively landlord, and the ups and downs of home ownership. Since this experience, Braydon always knew that he needed to be in real estate as a career. Before getting his real estate license, he pursued a career as a Carpenter, gaining hands-on experience in building and renovating houses. Braydon has leveraged his construction experience to help friends and family make good decisions when purchasing and renovating their places, and he’s passionate about providing this same service to his clients.
In addition to his professional pursuits, Braydon maintains an active lifestyle outside of work. He plays in a local baseball and hockey league and gets out backcountry camping as much as possible. In the winter he’ll be out skiing or planning his next ski trip. His hobbies and passions include collecting Pokemon cards, learning about human history, and doing yoga. His dream is to own a house in Exhibition Park and build a camper van to travel to ski resorts across North America.
I always wanted to be in real estate in some capacity. I've travelled to many different places and love how building materials and housing styles are influenced by the culture and place you're in, but regardless of what your home looks like or is built from, it represents the same thing everywhere in the world. I started my real estate journey in high school shop class when we made a miniature model house with stick framing and a concrete foundation. At that point, I decided that I was going to become a Carpenter, with the end goal of building homes and doing custom renovations. I worked for Contractors straight out of high school doing home renovations, learning lots and being exposed to many different projects. I purchased a rental property in town- a little bungalow on Metcalfe Street and converted the space into a duplex with the help of my newfound renovation skills. I rented and managed this property for 5 years before selling it in 2021. This was a great experience for me and very eye-opening to the realities of home ownership, working with tenants, and the world of real estate in general. During this time I worked for Fusion Homes constructing new build houses in Guelph. It was great to have that much exposure to the construction process and see the entire process from land surveying to handing the keys to the homeowners. Here I was exposed to the business side of real estate. I saw the intricacies of customer service and the client journey and thought that this would be something exciting and rewarding to learn. I continued working in construction, working on a framing crew for a large barn builder and then a custom home builder in town- both very rewarding experiences. During COVID-19, I decided I wanted a change and moved to Lake Louise, Alberta where I lived and worked at the Lake Louise Ski Resort. At the resort, I was introduced to my first "customer service" oriented job and loved it. It was very fulfilling seeing the fruits of your labour unfold in real time each day. If you did your job, kept the lodge in good order, and made sure the guests had a great experience, you would see that in how each guest interacted with you. At that point, I decided that I love the construction industry, but I'm passionate about customer service- so I got my Real Estate License.
I enjoy being able to learn and understand what people are looking for in a home. Being able to help people discover why they may want a certain location or construction style is very fulfilling and something I'm passionate about. I also like seeing the inside of houses- unique construction features, cool art and furniture excite me.
My favourite pastimes are skiing and camping with friends and family. We try to backcountry camp a few times a year and my favourite vacation in the world is skiing. Hit the hill all day, come back to the chalet, have a hot tub, eat dinner, and hang out with friends and family knowing you'll do it all again tomorrow. The most important part is being in good company!
My favourite food is Sushi. My favourite dessert is ice cream.

"He who starts too much accomplishes little." As a reminder to myself.
"Dave is everything you could look for in a good landlord. He has been my landlord over the past two years and has always been there upon any request. He literally turned our powder room into a full bathroom for us, got us a second fridge, has replaced light fixtures, replaced an old countertop, and a handful of other things. Point is, I definitely recommend having Dave as your landlord if you’re looking for someone who listens and is quick to action!"
Tenant
"Dave has been the best possible landlord one could have. He has responded to all of our requests and has kept his word on completing any of the tasks that were possible. Some of these things include, getting us a second recycling bin, renovating a bathroom, replacing the stove, and building a deck. I would personally recommend Dave to anyone and would 100% use Dave again as a landlord if I was ever to come back to Guelph after school!"
Tenant
“Dave Neill has been an amazing friend and realtor for our family! He has helped us purchase three homes in the Guelph area. His knowledge, expertise, honesty and genuine nature is unlike any other realtor. He is a man who truly cares about his clients and the future of their homes and families. I would recommend Dave to everyone and anyone and we do! Dave is amazing and we are truly grateful for him!"
